I'm looking for a spike to run the 3200 and maybe some early seasons/pre-lims 1600's. So far I've found the New Balance LD5000v3(lighter than the new version) and Adidas Avanti Boost as the best options.
--- I'm getting something else for 800/1600 and occasional "fun" 4x400 (probably victory 3 or Mamba 5) so i don't need anything too aggressive.
Imo the victory is better than either of those of you're only doing 3200, I havent found them too aggressive even over 5k
I've used the Vic 2s for 800-5km xc. Upper isn't durable enough for xc, but they are plenty comfortable for the distance.
I've tried them all. Nike Zoom Victory 3 hands down.
So you think I should just get the Victory 3 and use it for everything? Also, has anybody tried the new Mamba 5? seems to be out overseas

Vic 3s are comfier and seemingly more durable than 2s, but slightly heavier. Also not sutable for xc as they gain about a pound of dirt during the race.
