It felt super comfortable and rest was 3 min which is a decent amount. I understand this didn’t test me to my max. My coach said it was a threshold workout and that if done properly I should be able to run this pace for a 5k which would put me around 15:30. Is this realistic? I’m sorry for another prediction thread but I would like some other opinions.
If it was realistically your 5K pace you probably wouldn’t be asking for a second opinion.
More than likely this is right around your 3K or 3200 race pace. I’d guess your 5K fitness to be right around 16:00.

Your coach may mean something different from other coaches when he says what he said. Tinman's calculator gives (for a 15:30 5000m) threshold 3:22-3:27, CV 3:13-3:17, aerobic power 3:05-3:09, and VO2 max 2:58-3:01.
Alternatively, just run the damn race!
