Go for a run/hike around Kraft Mountain from Calico Basin. The canyon on the backside of Kraft Mountain is like a real life candyland.
I think everything on the strip is pretty hokey, but it's worth the experience for one night.

Yes, with my significant other. Why won't she like it?
Thanks again to you all for the great suggestions!
my wife and i flew into vegas this summer on our way to bryce/zion/grand canyon. it was a pit of degeneracy and i wish we did not have to be there. the people are honestly disgusting. i don't understand why you would want to go there if you were a female (unless you are a prostitute). the rest of our trip was fantastic though bryce/zion were unbelievable and the grand canyon was kind of lame but you have to see it once and we ran 10 miles on the rim trail so that was fun. I would second valley of fire as an outing. we saw mountain goats having intercourse at the VC parking lot.
How I spent my summer vacation.
I watched goats flock.
Stay in hotel and read Gideon Bible. Pray that you'll miss the fire and brimstone soon to descend on this city of sinners. Pray for the lost and least and even OJ, too.

Unless she’s into moving dirt and loud trucks...most chicks aren’t.
If you like pinball and retro arcade games, hit the Pinball Hall of Fame on Flamingo, not too far from the Strip. They have 100s of games going back to some of the first ever produced to more current machines. It's definitely a fun and interesting place. I could spend a day there just looking at all of the inventory.
