Just ordered some Vapor Glove 3's and I got them in and I am afraid they are too big. They fit pretty alright everywhere but the toes. The toes feel quite roomy. I know they are supposed to be a little roomier but I guess I'm not sure how much room is too much. This is my first pair of minimalist shoes so I'm a little unsure. Thanks!
How a shoe fits an individual has nothing to do with whether it is "minimalist" or not If the show is too roomy on any part of your foot, it's not the right shoe for you..
Well.... from what I have read, minimalist shoes have a wider toe box to allow your toes to spread properly when you run. So like I said, it fits pretty well everywhere and then the toe box has more room than the rest of the shoe, this is indicative of the style of the shoe. The question is, how much room is too much room in a minimalist style shoe.
Is this your first pair of vapor gloves? I own several and they are all roomy in the toes for a reason. Unless the shoe is too long/wide overall you are fine. Don't rush things though.
It is! That's exactly why I'm asking, I have never worn this style of shoe so I didn't know what is an adequate amount room vs too much room. I ordered another pair a half size smaller than what I have now and I'll compare and keep the pair that fits better. Thanks for the info though, that's very helpful.
