For the past year I have worn Hoka Clayton 2. Apparently the Clayton has been discontinued.
I want a shoe with 4mm drop (so I can switch to racing shoes without any adjustment), and I have loved the Clayton 2. I run 65-70 mpw, no particular injuries or risk factors (other than being an old runner).
What is the Hoka model that is most similar to the Clayton 2?

the hoka mach is the direct replacement to the clayton. same model, different name.
try to find models of the clayton 2 online if you can. some people have complained of arch pain in the mach, and the mach 2 comes out in february that hopes to fix the issue.

I can't find any more Clayton 2's in my size-I will try the Mach.
You might try out the New Balance Beacon too as an alternative. Better toebox room, better cushion and lighter.

The New Balance Beacon a 6mm drop. The Clayton 2 had 4mm, and the Mach has 5mm. I don't want to change the drop, and the Mach already seems to be a change (increase of 1mm), so I'll try the Mach. Beacon looks like a good shoe though.
