There is no reason for Manchin to support Kavanaugh. He can simply state that he will vote yes on a reasonable SCOTUS candidate put forth by Trump--Kavanaugh is not that candidate. See how he can work it and vote no?

Dr. Ford wanted to stop Kavanaugh specifically. Remember that she sounded the alarm to her congressperson when she found out that he was on the short list but BEFORE he was nominated. So the idea that she was motivated by political ideology just doesn't hold water. Dr. Ford's concern was that she simply could not stand the idea that her attacker would sit on the Supreme Court. It would not affect the direction of the court one way or the other.

The USA had the highest corporate taxes of any first world country. Plenty of bad things in the tax bill but a lower corporate tax burden is NOT one of them. This is basic economics wtf.

Somebody above posted that all of Ford's online presence was wiped clean. Seemed like a credible post, so its good enough for me to take as fact. That is the new standard going forward when debating with the lefties. That said, you have to admit that it is possible she is a hard line pro-choicer and views it as her life mission to maintain women's "choice."
