They DO NOT pronounce the g in his name as d.

I listened to the audio book of Alex Hutchinson's Endure. Great book but the pronunciation of the narrator on audible was infuriating – he insisted on calling him Eliud "Kipchudge" the whole way through.
At least two different pronunciations from the man himself then!
So... it's Kip chug' eh apparently with a strong emphasis on the "chug" and almost no emphasis on the "eh."
