Hi everyone, I wanted to get in better shape to join the army we get two options the requirements are 10:30 for the 1.5 mile or level 10 on a pacer/beep test in order to quality for the part i want to join.
I have reac on multiple websites but mostly this one that 400 repeats around a track are the best way to get in shape fast which is what i need to do as i will be tested next week. I have built myself up where I can do 8-10 (possibly more but i’d be killing myself) 400 repeats at 1:40-1:45 (6:40-7:00min/mile pace) with 50 seconds walking rest in between.
Obviously i know if I do pass i will only just scrape through but honestly, based on this fitness do I at least have what it takes at the moment to potentially pass? I quite smoking 6 months ago and started running so this is where I am at.
