At my current fitness level, probably not. I might need to start a seperate thread about safe placea to run in Haiti.
Why do you assume Haiti is unsafe? Are people there more likely to rob or assault you than in your 100% white middle-class suburb of Springfield, USA? Why do you think that? You really are a sick racist mofo aren't you? Next you'll be claiming that Third World poverty stricken Kenyans might actually take the opportunity to get some premium grade EPO over the counter of their high street pharmacy, safe in the knowledge that they will be bringing their entire village out of poverty, never mind family, with close to zero risk of getting caught (as long as they pay the Kenyan IAAF testers tea money).
Or maybe you wont, because that would be...racist...?
Get help.

Jeff, I will be interested in your take of the Razor 2.

I couldn't wear the Razor 2. The upper did this weird foldy thing every step that dug into my last 2 toes. I couldn't run down the driveway with them.
The Speed 5, otoh, are great. EVERY BIT AS GOOD AS THE ZOOM STREAK LT3, but with springier, more comfortable cushion.
Stock up.

Yea, some of the reviews stated issues with too much upper fabric on the Razor 2. But I like them so far.
I probably will be steering clear of the Speed 5 for a racing flat, though. I don't think the outsole has good enough grip for wet conditions and I like my racing flats to have to good grip in wet or snowy condition.

We usually end up in the same thread when it comes to shoes etc. I'm in the LT3/4 as a racing flat and speed work. Im looking for an alternative to an everyday easy/long run shoe.
Have any recommendations? I tried the Streak 6 and didn't care for it and my feet were to wide for the Boston 6. I tried the Adios but for some reason it was too narrow up in the tongue area for my feet.

Hmm, that's a tough question because I am still trying to figure that out and a person's shoe taste is so subjective. My feet are not very picky, so I can slip on almost any pair of shoes and feel pretty good in them. If I look over at my shoe shelf, there are almost 10 different brands. Reason for the variety is because I only got back into serious running a year ago and I have been experimenting with different brands.
Back to your question. Before I got injured, I was doing my long runs in Brooks Adrenaline GTS 18, Saucony Freedom ISO, Boston 6 for the faster long runs, and a discontinued Inov-8 model on the trails. Easy runs and recovery runs most recently in Pureboost DPR and Saucony Zealot ISO 3. Bought the Skechers Razor 2 to play around with and it feels good for short and medium stuff. I think that I would like the GoRun Ride 7 for long, easy, and recovery runs, but don't own a pair (yet).
In general, I have found that I like 4mm to 8mm drop; plenty of cushioning as I get older, especially in the forefoot, but not Hoka levels of cushioning; minimal uppers and structure; these new Boostish/TPU midsoles; and, of course, last year's models on discount. I used to run in the Brooks Adrenaline series and Mizuno a lot, but recently have realized that I don't need stability shoes, 10mm-12mm drops, and the giant heels and extra weight that come with higher drop shoes. So much marketing BS out there is the shoe market.
Fyi, I plan to switch my username because I have spread too much personal info on the boards and some loser is harassing me more than I am comfortable with, in addition to other semi-regular harassment. Never was crazy about this username, anyways, too much association with Che Guevara. Look for my new name in the Boostish-TPU thread.
And if I was going to recommend a particular brand, I really like what Saucony is doing right now across the board and I have a soft spot for Inov-8 on the trails. Most Brooks are too bulky with too much heel-toe drop for my liking, but I think their BioMoGo DNA foam is some of the best EVA foam that I have run in. It's hard to pass up Adidas Boost shoes on sale. And Skechers bang for your buck is tough to beat.

Thanks for the info.
I tried out the Go Run 5s ove heard Skechers made big upgrades but I always feel like their shoes lack pop. Did they fix this with the newer iterations?
I'm tempted by the Kinvara 9 I ran down the Eva in 200 miles in my old ones but with the everun seems promising.

I have only tried the Razor 2, so I can't speak authoratively on Skechers. I think the Razor 2 has some pop. The GoRun 6 have about the same height and thickness as the Razor 2, but reviewers say the foam is softer, so it feels like you are bottoming out in the GoRun 6. The GoRun Ride 7 has softer foam as well, but it is thick enough and people say good things about that shoe.
The Kinvara 9 only has an Everun topsole, not full midsole. I would not buy those because the exposed foam on the outsole would get destroyed with all the debris on the roads around here, but a lot of people swear by the Kinvara. Only a few Saucony models have a full Everun midsole, usually the more expensive options.

SW2, for what it is worth, I raced in the LT3s for a year, but wished they were wider... the GoMebSpeed5s are a better fit for wide-ish feet... they are on mega clearance on RW and Amazon right now... worth your time to try them out!

I blow out of my LT3 around 120-150 miles on the side.
I really like the firmness and grip (I don't do well in soft shoes) How do they compare to the LT? I absolutely want no part of any squish firmer the better.
You sound like a really fast and fit guy. I want someone like you in my life. I'd be honored to go for coffee with you someday. I want to get to know you. I could show you of to everyone and tell everyone that this guy standing next to me is Bekelesque.

Maybe. Pics?
Why did you make a thread about this?

imho, the LT3 is firmer.

Ill keep an eye out on Amazon, ive had a few returns recently at RW and don't want to get flagged. (Bought multiple pairs of Zoom Fly and had to return absolutely destroyed my feet)

Ah, the Nike Zoom Fly. I was running on the path last week jogging at a steady 6:45 pace and there was a guy that was about 20 meters behind me. Then he threw in a surge so he could be 20 meters ahead of me and then he just stayed that distance ahead of me. He was working pretty hard, clearly doing some kind of workout, and wearing he Zoom Fly. At least I hope it was the Zoom Fly, because only an idiot would wear the Vaporfly for a workout at 6:40 pace.
