Anyone try either or both of these? I used to use the Nike Perseus but want to try something lighter, are either of these a good fit?

I've had the unposted Rotterdam, the posted Rotterdam, and several DS trainers, though not the IX. I much prefer the Asics. The Adidas did not fell right on my feet. However, I think the IX has gotten some bad reviews (even on this board), as a clunker in the DS series. But I prefer Asics.
Try the X's...reminiscent of the 7s- really light, very roomy up front (A little too much cushion up front for speed though), but a DRASTIC improvement over the 9s.
I've had the non-clima cool rotterdams, and the clima cool rotterdams. Both are great shoes and I'm quite a large runner (6' 185). The only problem I had with the first rotterdams was they wore relatively quicly on the outside of the heel, that's common using adidas though in my cases. I've also had the ds-trainers, only the IX. They were okay after i got through the nagging blisters, but I was feeling too much pavement for my liking in them. I'd go with the rotterdams if you're looking for a little extra cushion or height from the ground.
Ok! Thanks a bunch!! By the way, I meant the Adidas Rotterdam II's in case there was any confusion. Also, if anyone wants, there is a promotional code at Foot Action for 25% off any order. The code is EMCP6895.
Oh, and do the Rotterdam II's fit true to size?
It depends what you like. The Rotterdam has a huge heel and thick midsole. It is also fairly stiff for a performance type shoe. The DS is smoother and rides a little lower to the ground. You might also check out the new Saucony Tangent. If you don't need the medial post, there has been great feedback on the new Asics Speedstar.
