F. Inge falls over in his 1500ht on lap 3 loses loads of ground, makes it all up way too aggressively but still holds on to all but win the heat. OK the winning time was only 3.40 but it was speeding up, there seems no physical limit to what he can do.
Editor's note: Filip's recovery was incredible. Watch it for yourself.

Just how much stuff is Filip Ingebritesen on?

Plus, he barged Kimeli trying to force himself through on the inside (why? after a fall should run wide) and showed off massively after the finish. Basically a bit of a twat. Crowd loved it though.

don't worry, Coevette will be all over this. He is an avid anti-doper.

He is a skinny f*ck though, probably just 6mm deep.
He'll get stitches and be fine, Filip is head an shoulders better than anyone else in Europe. I've been saying it for a year whilst everyone was hanging medals around Jakob's neck.
Filip is the one. -

You are trying to make drama? He bled, the NRK reporter asked if he was alright, and he was like yeah, but hadn*t quite checked. So he checked and he had this wound on the front side of leg that bled a bit. Filip then said "Oh, that*s deep and goes to the bone, I better go to a doctor". It felt like a joke though and no one, including all of the Ingebrigtsens including the father seemed worried. I'd be surprised if it turns out to be a thing...
Interesting from the interviews is that all 3 brothers seem to be in VERY good shape. Henrik is the fastest he has been in a few years with endurance better than ever. He felt modest when he said he had 3.34 shape. The 2 others are reportedly in better shape than Monaco, running basically best test times of their lives. -
Dont be surprised if they go 1-2-3 on friday. Filip - Jakob - Henrik
-
I was watching the swedish coverage and they were going to interview Filip after he had spoken with nrk, but then he never came. Instead the nrk people came and said it was because the wound went to the bone so he had to go fix that immediately
I'm glad he's good then! -

The posters on this website are the saddest people on the planet. Hates people celebrating, running tactical. Anything other than a time-trial at every race is condemned. And then if they run that kind race and post a good time, they're immediately accused of doping. What a bunch of nerds. -

It's definitely possible but I'd be surprised if a Brit doesn't get a medal. Particularly Wightman after his 1:44 the other day. -
Still can't believe Holusa didn't make it to the final. I think he would have been the one to crash the Ingebrigtsen party.
-
Probably a good call especially in your typical tactical final. An Ingebrigtsen only podium is definitely a stretch - but the fact that it is actually possible is crazy enough!
-
I guess a slow race favo(u)rs a Wightman. Hard from the gun will be different?????

Cleaner than ELG and Kiprop,no?

It's o.k., the 3rd Kenyan failing a test in 10 days proves definitively that every runner in Europe is juiced to the gills. You don't have to provide more 'logic', surely?
I think some Americans here are just bitter that a second Ingebrigsten just destroyed Jim Ryun... -

It helps if you actually saw the race, oh and read what I actually said. -

I would hope so - he's 71.
