See subject. Grossed out. There were these whitish yellow strand things in the can of sardines. It was an expensive brand too. I pulled one out and it was really stretchy. Not like a bone. I immediately threw it out, but may have ate half of one accidentally.
They weren't moving or anything, but they seemed "segmented". Uniform color.
Am I screwed? I've googled everything and can't find any good info on this. I reside in North America. They were lightly smoked in olive oil with lemon.
