there was this cool thread earlier in the year for all those aspiring to run a sub 2h30 in Boston, and that became a the official thread for all those envisioning a sub 2h30 in the first semester.
for those that still did not achieve the sub 2h30 like me... are you still giving a try in 2018?
for me it will be Amsterdam Marathon. I started two weeks ago a 15-weeks training plan.
my Half-Marathon time earlier in the year was 1h12:15 and I need to bring that down about one minute to have a chance.
finished the first two weeks running ~ 70 miles in each, with a track workout (4 x Mile just under 5:20 w/ lap jog), +2h long run ~ 7 min pace and a tempo (last week ran 10 km in 36 min), the rest of the mileage was easy.
still far from sub2h30 shape but 13 weeks to go... i know i have a chance.
