Does anyone know of a good way to elevate a tablet on a treadmill (specifically Life Fitness Club series, but any suggestions are appreciated)?
The built-in display is so low that I have to either hunch over or look out of the bottom of my eyes to watch. Both are pretty uncomfortable. Even though there's a little ledge to hold an iPad or tablet, it's under the display, so I have to look down to watch that, too.
I've seen some tablet-holder clamps, but the treadmill display casing is too thick for any of these clamps to attach. I tried jerry-rigging my own with some wider clamps from the Home Depot tool department. For a few runs, it kept my tablet at eye-level, which was wonderfully comfortable. But it wound up cracking a treadmill screen at my gym, which cost a fair amount.
So, has anyone had success in raising a tablet to eye-level?
(I've also looked into periscoping glasses that people use to read in bed. This could work, but the ones sold on Amazon only look 90 degrees down, and don't adjust. A pair of glasses with adjustable angle would be worth a shot, if anyone has ever seen something like that).
Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
