I just saw the post on her and decided to take a look at her IG.
About her doing the AT. In it, she replies to someone with:
"I really hope so tho. I’ll be aiming over 40 miles a day for 50+ days so... that’s a lot for little legs"
Along with this is a post of her training at First Landing state park in Virginia Beach.
All I'll say is this:
1. Averaging 40 miles a day on the AT is no joke.
2. Averaging 40 miles a day on the AT when you have no endurance background is laughable.
3. Thinking you are going to average 40 miles a day on the AT when you train in Virginia Beach is delusional and absurd.
I'd like for her to make one trip to the AT in Virginia. Have her video for us how she feels after 10 miles. Let's see if she really thinks she can do 40 miles a day with the technical trail and close to 7k per day of just uphill (not to mention the downhill). Me thinks that she won't record a video like this and IF she did, she'll be singing a different tune than 40 miles per day.
