Happy for both of them, but I agree with the "side jobs to afford the ring" comment. A guy shouldn't have to work side jobs for a ring that's out of his price bracket. My fiance gave me a ring that he could afford. After a few years he surprised me with an "upgrade" but since our financial situation had improved he didn't have to work side jobs to afford it.

Look what happened to Chis Solinsky after he tripped over his dog coming down the stairs. Never was the same. A dog gone shame.
I'm also a little baffled by the explosion of singles exploiting their ownership of these comfort pets. I suppose it's okay for a young couple to get a dog as a trial kid experiment. Unfortunately, dogs and babies have little in common. You can always leave a dog outside when you're tired of them.
Why do you need a dog if your single? Unless you live on a farm there is no reason to keep a dog inside a small apartment for long stretches of time.
I don't want to listen to your barking whining dog when you leave. If I see someone walking a pitbull it's a clear sign they have vicious hateful things tumbling around in their craniums.
When you see a pretty blonde snapping a selfie with her pet chiwawa just remember dogs are descendants of wolves and can turn on their owners when times get desperate. The smaller the dog the less psychologically stable it is.
One last thing! Barbara Streisand should be jailed for spending 50k to have her furry four-legged fido cloned. There are starving children in parts of Beverly Hills in need of love.

It was on a running scholarship. That's like football players who get into Stanford and major in communications or general studies.
