The cheapest I got were HellyWebber. They don't have any support though. I don't use them much in case they literally injure you. I got them for less then 25 euro(Spanish and I was literally there when I brought them).
yea man I don't want to get injured.. the reason I need new shoes in the first place is because now I need to take a couple weeks off because of shin splints.
I don't want to run in walmart shoes either, I've felt those shoes and the soles feel like stiff plastic.
im currently running in nike tanjuns and they have holes where the big toes are and the soles are worn flat, I've been wearing them for over a year. it sucks being poor.. im going back to school next year, but for now next week I am starting a job stocking at a grocery store.
Go to runningwarehouse website. Go to clearance shoes. Search for price low to high. Find a shoe that looks interesting and do an online search to see what other runners say about it.
When ordering, use the code FB15D to get a 15% discount off the sale price. Of course, clearance shoes vary by season, so you'll have to be patient to find what you like.
Poke your head in every Marshalls or Ross or whatever each time you go by one. Sooner or later you find a deal in your size. Currently have Vomeros that I paid $40 for. Recently seen 860, Zante, Ravenna, various Adidas, all cheap.
6pm.com is zappo's clearance site, you can usually find shoes a few generations old on there for good prices
Go on ebay and find some lightly used shoes (or brand new ones under $50 if you are lucky). For the used ones you can tell whether you want them or not by pictures of the soles.

go to Joe's New Balance Outlet
pick shoes from the Daily Deal, which changes everyday.

thanks i just looked at the site, that's a pretty good price ive heard a lot about new balance but do you think those daily deals are worth it or should I save maybe $10 or $20 more and try to find some nike pegasus/vomeros or adidas pure boost or bostons? i hear a lot about those two.
Go barefoot and vegan. Also start a blog about your barefoot and vegan lifestyle.
Saucony Cohesion can usually be found for less than $50, and also Nike Downshifter is usually $49.99. Solereview liked them.
I buy a lot of my shoes on Ebay (i buy new not “gently used” because most used shoes are worthless) there can be deals to be had you usually have to have an idea of which shoe model you want. For example I bought some Kinvara 7s for $36.
Running warehouse has deals but you have Act quick unless you are an odd size.
It takes a little effort but its easy to get good deals. I haven’t paid close to retail in years.
Btw you didn’t say what size. I have a couple of pairs that aren’t working for me that I’d be happy to let go for cheap. They are 10.5mens
I'm lucky in that there is a Brooks Outlet store near where I live. I'm even luckier because twice a year (October and April) they have a Brooks Truckload Sale where they sell factory "2nds" for ridiculously low prices ranging from $29 to $59. The "2nds" have virtually nothing wrong with them except for something cosmetic or a blemish. They also have clothing for sale as well.
Ebay has Adidas adios size 11 brand new for like $45. Don't get much better than that those shoes last forever.

+1 on this. I bought a pair of Nike Lunar Tempos for $40.00 new on e-bay. You can also sometimes score a pair of women's shoes super cheap. I wear a size 13 women's which are tough to sell apparently because last year's models are usually cheap.
