hey, just looking at the ofsaa results from this weekend, and impressed cuz i know 2 of the 3 top finishers in the midget boys 400m. they ran 50.8 and 52.2. I am wondering if there's anyway to see how this compares to the states best grade 9 times, because dyestat, as far as i know, only lists overall highschool times.

That really isn't that impressive! When I was a midget (back in 1988), the winning time was 51.1, I believe; second was 51.3 and third was 51.5. These recent times are quite normal if you look at the history of OFSAA midget 400m.
well, if you look at the history, the winner broke the record. lol, the 52 isn't that great, but the kid doesn't run club or even have a real history in soccer or a running related sport. (the 50.8 kid does run club and trains very seriously)

with the change of the age groups last year, they made the winning time from 2004 the \"new\" record, but kept the old one on the books.
