Doctor, what is your take on fasting glucose levels ?
Are they variable ?
Why do different countries have different tolerance levels ?

You are the very embodiment of the problem. You think you know how to evaluate quality of care. And you equate quality of care with your personal impression of the physician.
Please use your real name so I can make sure my kids never run for you.
You complain about whining patients yet you're the one whining on a message board.
What's your point? Maybe you should acknowledge all the ways you are making life harder for the people who keep you healthy and try to be more considerate.
Either 0/10 or you're a pretentious a-hole. Either way, you lose.

you sound like a major catastrophe.
cheers.
You are not a doctor. You do have issues.
Think about it. By the process of elimination, somewhere there has to be the worst doctor in the world. And you could be him.
I always wanted to pretend to be a doctor

I am a doctor, and my issues are dopes like you who for some reason consider yourself my peer when you are coming to me for treatment.
As for the other guy: do you think it’s remotely possible for a fellowship trained surgeon in the US to be the world’s worst doctor? If you do, I suggest your high school go back and revoke your diploma.
I'm betting, at best, you are a PA or First Assistant.

Ok. People also bet on the Browns to win the Super Bowl. Doesn’t mean a whole lot.
The point of my post was the average person I encounter in my practice is a nitwit, and boy is the evidence crystal clear.
I don't believe you. It's nearly the equivalent of a teacher saying they aren't concerned with student satisfaction. While that may be true in many cases due to false expectations on the part of the patient/student, I still believe it probably isn't true for most.
People who want to blame their doctor for any unwanted outcome are no different than students/parents that want to blame the teacher for grades that are lower than they want. Those people are usually the ones that wait too long to get help and never did what they could to help themselves along the way. They don't want to hear bad news and despite seeking your help, they don't want to follow your advice if it involves hard work. They often read bits and pieces of things on the internet choosing to remember only what supports/agrees with their viewpoint and too often take things out of context.
There are people who are never going to be happy, and it's a practical matter to let their dissatisfaction be their issue not yours.
However, I would also guess that you take great care in treating your patients on many levels and do so because you want them to be satisfied with you and your efforts. When someone comes back and says "thank you for making my life better" in their own words, I don't believe that your response is really "meh."
I agree with the OP but, he's not a physician. He's a wannabe troll.
I want to find out who you are so I can give you a 2/5 on Yelp and say that you made me fill out a lot of paperwork and that your fingers are cold.
Separate satisfaction and outcome. I am obsessed with outcome and it goes without saying I attempt to provide the best possible care no matter who the patient is or how much they complain or how many google generated questions they ask.
OP are you Doc Vader?

Maybe you play one on TV? ? Seriously, post your identity and where you practice at, otherwise anybody can say anything about who they are on an anonymous discussion forum (...imagine that ?).
If that's your attitude, I'm afraid you won't be in business very long.

Sorry guys. I’m not a doctor, I have a BA in Psychology and work at the Apple Store. I’d post my name but I don’t want you to find my parents house on Apple Maps (I’m not allowed to say the other map company). I did go to a pretty good regional college though.
Apologies for all the commotion.
So you get defensive when patients ask questions, you're late all the time, and you don't care about patient satisfaction. You sound like an amazing doctor.
More likely you're upset with yourself because you spent a bunch of years in school to take people's gall bladders out for $200 a pop while your wife is banging her personal trainer and you know you could be making more money as a plumber. Have fun living your awesome life.
I’m on the same page as noisewater. Most of you are whiny know-it-alls.
