So I recently had an MRI for a running injury and ended up finding (in addition to aforementioned injury) a growth plate injury. Does this mean that my growth plates are still open? I'm almost 5'2" and I've never had a major growth spurt... I was around 4'11" at this time last year. I just turned 17 a few weeks ago. My ultimate goal is to get at least 2 more inches but idk if that's possible lol
It's mostly genetic, but I notice kids that drink a lot of milk are taller. Some people are against drinking milk for health reasons though so maybe foods high in calcium like greens.
Drink milk, eat meat, lots of veggies, beans, nuts, and fruit. You can hang upside down on an inversion table to gain an inch or two.
You will grow about 2 years past puberty. Guessing you are done at 17.
Maybe a inch or two, at most.
Girls are completely done at 15/16

That 3'' Over the last year WAS your growth spurt. It's possible you still grow but not likely. As someone else said, females are usually done by 16ish. Nothing wrong with being short as a girl though, being short as a guy on the other had would really suck.

Maybe but probably not.
My wife and my oldest daughter both grew a couple inches after age 17, but most girls are done growing by that time.

I do not know what a growth plate injury is, but my brother was at the doctor for being very small, it turned out to be hormonal, so they gave him growth hormones and got from 170 to 184 centimeters from age 17 to age 19 (from 5'8 to 6'1? ).
It’s possible. Depends on your body mass and your breast size.

Life is okay. However I want to make it into the MLS.
Those 145 pounds aren’t all fat. Most of that weight goes to my bum, with about 8 pounds in belly fat - I like beer!

Not if you have a hormonal disease, he just didnt have the sufficent amount.
