My legs, especially my calves, have been getting fatigued very early in my runs. I've been working a second shift job at nights to earn some extra cash, but it's manual labor, on my feet till midnight. Not including my run, I'm getting about 10 miles a day in steps.
Should i be modifying (decreasing) my training because of this?
John Walker worked at a rock quarry for a good part of his career. He would often just run 10 miles in 55 minutes (or faster often around 50 minutes) at noon during his lunch break. So, if you are walking 10 miles on your job. I would just do a hour steady once a day. Micheal Mysyoki trained just one hour a day (plus a short 10 minute jog warm up and a 10 min cool down jog). And, once a week he would do some intervals and a race or tempo run.
