As someone who has worn Mizuno Wave Inspires as their main trainer for all of their running, I decided to switch things up and get a couple of pairs of Lunarglide 9s. They sounded perfect because I was looking for a shoe that has less stability but still good cushion to make the transition (possibly) to a more neutral shoe later. Plus, they were $40 a pop because of the color. Not a bad deal.
I’m disappojnted in them and I haven’t done more than jog from the front to the back of my house a couple of times.
They have way more support than I was expecting - to the point that it hurts my arch. Maybe I didn’t do enough research, but most of what I read suggested they would have less than the Wave Inspires but more, than say, the Pegasus.
Maybe it’s because I’ve been working on my form and foorstrike lately, but I think it might be time for a fully neural shoe instead.
Anyone have a similar experience?
