I'd agree. Mo bit the hand that fed him and went rogue with Jama Aden. He then distanced himself from Salazar instead of defended him in the stumble bumble press conference in England when Salazar ran into accusations. He got too close to the fire with Aden's bust, then pretended to have Barry F as his coach for a bit. They had a falling out for unknown reasons, then Mr. Paula Radcliffe took over the job. Leaving NOP and forming his own Mudane team was the cherry on top. Had it not been for Nike, the move to Portland, and extra press-ups, he'd have struggled to make the finals of London and Rio (as he did pre-Salazar in Beijing). I think what really lifted him (and Galen that 3:50 indoor season) was sharing "trade secrets" between Aden and Salazar. Perhaps Galen tested these trade secrets out that indoor season, then note that Farah then ran his 3:28 the following summer.

He needed something to explain the sudden rise.I believe Alberto is grey-area only and is unfairly maligned.

For whatever reason, I've never considered that. You really might be on to something. Incidentally, the majority of the negative comments are coming from a single IP address.

Mo had Rupp scared of his own shadow on the track. If he can get inside Rupp’s head on the roads, that’s one less to worry about in Tokyo.

No it doesn't. Forbidden method for at least 4 - 6 of this athletes, plus likely doping status for Centro and Rupp (worse than Kiprop!) plus testo spike for Rupp. That is black, not grey.

Read the comment on Letsruns front page in which Mo singled out Galen as someone he must learn to beat on the roads. What about Kenenisa and Eluid, them beating you Mo is fine?

When will you guys get it in your skull that Bekele is not a threat in a marathon. Gebrselassie out of retirement would be more of a threat than Bekele.

The idea that someone thinks Bekele will be going strong in 2020 is laughable. likely it will be kipchoge, mo, rupp, karoki, and kam that will be the threats in Tokyo.

I don't understand why Mo Farah is even thinking about running the marathon in Tokyo. Surely he must have better chances at the 10K, he must still be top 5 in the world, no? Last year alone there were 28 guys under 2:06:22, and they weren't all run at Dubai, they were run at Berlin, Tokyo, Amsterdam, Valencia, London, Fukuoka, Frankfurt, Seoul, Rotterdam, Paris, Eindhoven, and Chuncheon.
