The USA will inevitably break up, how will it look?

Would be pretty awesome.

Texas would go solo and be fine.

Western states + California??? SWEET.

Mid west.

Northeast.

Canada takes the Dakotas.

Just wait for the U.S. debt to make this country collapse. How I see it as far as the new nations:

California and Texas will go it own separate ways.

New England/North East will either combine and create a larger state. Or, have smaller nation states like they have in Europe. Lithuania as a example.

The south will probably form a confederate union.

Alaska will probably either go back to Russia or Canada.

The western states will probably form a confederation.

New Mexico and Arizona will probably go back to Mexico.

This will be Yugoslavia 2.0

Red counties and precincts are sparkly populated and mostly empty space. If your intent is to claim emptiness counts when dividing a country into parts, then epic failure on your part. That makes as much sense as basing a USA division by per-capita income.

I think California will eventually be part of Mexico again. I don't really have any predictions beyond that. The rest of the Southwest will probably remain in the United States but it seems equitable that California will go to Mexico some time in the future. It just seems fair to me.

Yup. They have all the oil and a diverse landscape. Lush mountains, arid basins, deserts, humid coastal regions, rich soil for farming...

They'd have food. That's about it.

No federal aid to help with wildfires and earthquakes.

No energy resources (Hoover Dam can't power everything), no coal mines. I guess they do have tons of uranium underground, but no nuclear power stations to utilize it.

And Cali's insane debt would sink them pretty quick.

Out of all the areas to turn into a third world country the quickest, this would be it.

With the trade embargo US Grant wanted Lincoln to put on south, sure 3rd world. That's what happened to Haiti. Were Haitians free before Ethiopians? Either way, Haitians were the first free blacks in Western Hemisphere. White Europeans wouldn't trade with Haitians. If south were their own nation and a strict trade embargo were placed on the faux Libertarians down there, south would turn into Mad Max in a year or two.

Do you not know they’d have to make trade agreements with every nations? Interstate commerce would cease to exist for one example. And there’s a million other issues to talk about here. The USA is not breaking up.

During his second term as President Trump will annex Mexico thus saving cost of border wall and solving many problems.

All liberals will be deported to Canada and North Korea.

All homeless will move to Puerto Rico and Cuba where it is warmer.
