Track and Road are lame. I dont know why money goes there instead of actual earthly terrain. They are ideal situations to set world records. In reality the earth is not a road or track...its surfaces of all types and slopes of all types. Who would be the best runner of all styles? I am talking road, track, mountain, trail, gravel, sand, grass, etc. I constantly meet elite road runners that cant go 1 mile without rolling their ankles on a rooty trail....so cut out all of the pro marathoners. They would get annhilated in a real race and not a road race. This isn't an ultra vs marathon thing. This is a question on who actually would win in a race of all styles.
