Does anyone know what sort of socks he was wearing? Some sort of compression sock? Also interesting that while he wore compression shorts for the sub-2 run, here he was wearing regular running shorts (less aerodynamic).
On a tangent, props to Josh Cox who did a pretty good job commentating on the Olympic Channel.. He was calling out Keitany big-time for going out much too fast. (The other announcer sounded like a real tool.)
