The average was 29.1
The last two were slightly slower than average at 29.3 and 29.5 but held it together pretty well
Start at mile pace and work down to 800 pace, jog 200. Make the last 2 a controlled sprint, as if you were running the first 200 of an 800.
Do you think I could go sub 2 for 800 if I averaged 29.1 for this workout
It’s my senior year of HS and I’m looking to run fast enough to compete in college D1. This is my second year running track, my first year i ran 2:03 indoors and 1:59 otutdoors. This year I’ve already run 1:57 indoors and looking to improve outdoors.
I just did a workout on the track that i felt pretty good about. It wasn’t that hard and it was pretty windy out, but I think it’s a sign of things to come.
