Am running first track race of the season this Sunday and wondering what time I should hope to get my pbs last year were 2:09 in the 800m and 4:38 in the 1500 (I could never pace it right) my training since then has been
Mon: rest/strength
Tues: track session
Wed: easy run 40-50 mins
Thurs: tempo (reps or constant running)
Fri: rest
Sat: Fartlek/track session
Sunday: long run 60 mins
I feel I am in a lot better shape this season and can run quicker, ran a workout of 5 x 400 in 58 62 72 70 66 with 2 minutes rest. Any particularly good way to pace the 1500 and any time predictions? Thanks
