George definitely wins the steeplechase
George would win the throwing events. Abe would dominate the high jump and probably the long and triple jumps.
The running races would be a different story. If you were to bring back these two presidents to race each other, Abe would understandably freak out every time they fired the starter's pistol.
Also, with Lincoln's height and elongated features, medical historians believe that he may have had Marfans syndrome. Heart problems are associated with Marfans, so the running may have killed him. He was probably on borrowed time when he was assassinated.
Abe owns the 10k... even at a jog. GW was a big dude.
wrong. GW once had the WR in the long jump

i actually think a fit GW (before he was president) could have beat Lincoln in every event.
What year does the competition take place?
Lincoln was a dominant local runner when young:
“He could beat any of the boys wrestling, or running a foot race, in pitching quoits or tossing a copper…and the dignity and impartiality with which he presided at a horse race or fist fight, excited the admiration and won the praise of everybody that was present and participated.”
First Debate with Stephen A. Douglas at Ottawa, Illinois, August 21, 1858, MR. DOUGLAS' SPEECH, Title: Collected Works of Abraham Lincoln. Basler, Rutgers University Press, 1953
Taking each of them at their prime I would take Lincoln for an overall win, though if G.W. was a jumper as suggested maybe they split some jumps and shorter races.
Don't mark Abe down for having Marfans Syndrome. Wilt Chamberlain had it, and he was an exceptional track and field athlete.
I like this premise. I want to see it extended to a competition amongst all presidents.
I'd say Obama wins the 10k (being Kenyan and all), even with his smoking habit. Trump would probably be bringing up the rear with Taft, assuming FDR was not participating. Teddy Roosevelt would be a threat in a lot of events. James Madison, being like 5' 4" and all, would probably struggle in the jumps.
Neither one as both men have been deceased for a few years now.
GW threw a silver dollar across the Potomac. That has to count for something in disc.
I am calling all events as relatively even. Washington was 6'2" and Lincoln was 6"4". Both appear to be of similar build.
