Remarried Ex-Wife still keeps tabs on me....why?

Did the rich guy dump her before marrying and she wants to get back with you now? Since you say that other guy was a rich finance type, then he probably did a cost analysis of being with her versus the decline in her youth and projected that her attractiveness no longer covers the amount he is spending versus what he can pick up on the open market. Essentially, that other guy leases. You don't get rich by sticking with a declining asset with increasing upkeep costs.

The guy she left me for is a short, overweight man....but money talks. I've never met him. They are still together from what I understand, as she no longer goes by her maiden name.

My new wife is very attractive. Maybe that has something to do with it? Jealously? I dunno.

Based on my experience being in a similar spot as you, this is what I concluded a few decades ago--the cheater feels guilty about what she did. If she can "remain friends" with you, or if you "land on your feet" than she feels better about herself. Think about it, from her perspective, if you are still her friend, then what she did couldn't have been that bad. If you now have a beautiful family, what she did couldn't have been that bad--all's well that ends well.

Cheaters are narcissists. It's always about them--rarely about you.

If it bothers you that she's checking up on you-then disappear digitally. But don't let her control you or get in your head. She's the crazy one.

Seems like she is regretting something, perhaps her marriage is not that good anymore and she is starting to think different thoughts.

But that doesn't matter. You have a new family and most importantly a child that needs a father. You shouldn't be thinking about your ex now. I know what goes into your head but trust me it's better to wipe her out of your life completely. Block her on all social media.

You were previously married, so at least at one point in her life, you were a pretty large piece of who she was. Now she's commenting on things on Facebook through mutual friends. That's just Facebook stuff. And talking to one of your co-workers and casually asking how you've been? That's making small talk. And I'm guessing she's gone to LinkedIn like twice, who cares why?

I think I would be more concerned if she was actually randomly Googling you, but this is stuff that's already just a part of her normal life (small talk, Facebook, etc). If you are honestly concerned about it, I guess you could delete your Facebook. Not sure why anyone wants one right now anyway

And he’s right, if the OP cares then he still cares for his ex and that a problem given he’s married to someone else. The OP should be grateful that he didn't have a child with the ex, and grateful he has moved on with a new wife and a child.

It doesn't really matter whether the ex remains interested in the OP. She made the decision to cheat rather than to deal with whatever shortcomings in your relationship existed directly. it is easier for some (although often destructive) to act out rather than to cope with problems. That behavior likely hasn't gone away merely because the ex left the OP.

Be very grateful and move on.

As long as the stalking remains on social media ignore it If she escalates contact with your friends and really digs into your life through them contact your divorce lawyer for legal advice.
