Was browsing Nile -- saw this. It's basically a VF 4% without the plate. Wonder how much it weighs or if people try to run in them?

I have them. They feel more solid than the Vaporfly, but still a bit bouncy likely due to the React foam. The upper is much better than the Vaporfly, but it has some plasticky, rubber substance on top of the Flyknit which denotes the fact it is a street shoe.
They look ridiculous, but to each his own.
oh wow this is perfect for a science experiment
especially for those who say it's not the spring plate but the foam
okay you plate-deniers, go run your next half/marathon in these instead of vapors
I wish someone had a machine that could consistently repeat results for testing shoe efficiency, just like they do for bicycle tires (ie. bicyclerollingresistance.com) has to be possible to build such a beast, maybe using a specially engineered motorized mannequin with sensors on a treadmill (bet nike has one)
