Can you predict a goal 3K time off of a 2K run at goal 3K pace? Is it a good predictor of time for actual 3K?
Trying to break 10:00 in 3K. Two weeks ago ran 10:05 on banked Track with no one to pace off of for 12 laps at the Armoy
This 2K float was performed on a flat track with the plan to run
800 at 2:35
400 at 1:30
800 at 2:35
For 6:40 or 10:00min 3K pace
I ran
800 at 2:36
400 at 1:28
800 at 2:35 and change
Had to run clock wise which was awkward feeling and passing a few in the curves during the run.
What can I run 3K at? 9:52-9:55 on a flat track with competition.
How about on banked Track with competition.
