Two sides to every story. What's the backstory on this? Off to Africa again for 6 weeks for Mo, apparently.

Editor's note: We changed the title from "Farah harassment? What's the story? (Link inside)" to the current one to make it more descriptive.
The German Federal police have denied the claim: http://www.espn.co.uk/athletics/story/_/id/22674940/german-police-deny-sir-mo-farah-claims-racial-harassment

Too bad people have to be treated like this.

Just go, Mo. Your time is done.

I'd say this says it all:
"Farah has not described the original incident that precipitated the charge of harassment." Calling on his previous airport incident, I'd say odds are it has something to do with being entitled. -

A guy named Mohammed tried to get on a plane. In Germany (or America), this almost doesn't really count as harrassment. -
When I first read the headline, I though Most was getting #metoo'd.
-
Any truth to the rumor this all started because there was no one at the counter when he got there, but there was a sign that said "ring bell for service" so he rang it but no one answered?
-
If he really thinks that he was terribly harassed based on what he showed on the video, then I'd say he's led a pretty charmed life.

German airports are awful handsy, and not in a good way. Frankfurt Airport is one that loves to touch at security. I could see this easily escalating from a groping that they do to everyone to "DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?" and then spiraling out of control.

Agreed. -

Man, this made me chuckle. -

Maybe, but service people should be cut down when they are rude, every single time and regardless of who the customer is. -
I don't generally agree with Farah's political views, but the authorities have never given us reason to trust them, and in this case, they certainly overstepped their bounds, even if lightly. They're here to serve us, not the other way around.

Shoving him and saying 'go to your gate' is totally unnecessary.
Farah is clearly walking away and the security takes offence to being recorded -

It was at Frankfurt airport that the bomb was loaded that was responsible for the Pan Am Lockerbie air disaster in 1988. -

That security person is a jerk. He needs to be reprimanded and fired. -
Not understanding what MO just faced is the perfect definition of white privilege...
