Here is the layout from the TFRRS performance list. I was curious as to how one balances the lifestyle as a top tier miler as well as the academic workload in college:
3:54.72.....Josh Kerr................New Mexico...............Exercise Science
3:55.46#....Jonathan Davis...........Illinois.................History
3:
h Koech..............UTEP.....................Therapy
3:55.82.....Justyn Knight............Syracuse.................Social Work
3:
y Knevelbaard........Southern Utah............**UNLISTED**
3:56.56#....Vincent Ciattei..........Virginia Tech............Engineering Sciences & Mechanics
3:56.58#....Patrick Joseph...........Virginia Tech............Geography
3:
Rockhold............Colorado St..............**UNLISTED**
3:56.89.....Sam Prakel...............Oregon...................Biochemistry
3:57.19#....Neil Gourley.............Virginia Tech............Mechanical Engineering
3:57.23.....Reed Brown...............Oregon...................**UNLISTED**
3:
Perrin..............Colorado.................Integrative Physiology
3:57.37#@...Diego Leon...............Montana State............Mathematics
3:
Saarel...............Colorado.................Engineering Physics/Computer Science
3:57.53.....Amos Bartelsmeyer........Georgetown...............Master's in Finance
3:57.64.....Carlos Villarreal........Arizona..................Criminal Justice
Some things I noticed when tabulating the list:
* Ben Saarel is a very smart kid; comes from good genes and has a 3.967 GPA as a double major
* Vincent Ciattei just received a post-graduate scholarship so he is obviously very bright
* Neil Gourley and Diego Leon both have in demand majors
* Amos Bartelsmeyer is the lone graduate student in the field
* Sam Prakel might deserve a bulletpoint but I don't trust the Oregon curriculum
The rest of them seem to be in school solely to run.
