I 100% agree with you. I'm about to make my picks and may pick Hassan. Definitely not Obiri.

Interesting how different these predictions are to the poll on the 3,000m preview page. That poll has Dibaba at 40%, with Houlihan, Obiri and Hassan all around 15%, followed by Muir at 9% and KK at 7%.
If you didn't get your HJ picks in, still enter the contest. We are going to give people the picks for day 1 that the masses had.
Does anyone get how that ESPN facebook stream works? If I go on the ESPN facebook main page there is no video from Birmingham... :-/
Paula R has picked Kszczot as her up and coming athlete to watch?
Live stream? BBC broadcast that we can watch online or anything???

BBC have tightened up rules and you need to register and they share data with TV Licensing now. Not sure if its doable direct from their site if you're overseas.
Who is this “Lil Dick Rex” you speak of? (Men’s 1500)
This stream works. thanks

I thought Mcleod won't be able to defend his title due to visa issues (per a headline on your front page)? I didn't see anything about that in the picks for the men's hurdles.
Lysenko looks to be the top jumper this year. Easily defeats Barshim 2.36 to 2.33. And he is young as well. Just outside being a junior. Incredible!
Lasitakene on the womens side is in a league all her own. Wins gold. Everybody competing for 2nd place this year.
If you listen on NBC gold, they have the international commentators and no commercials.
I thought the Olympic channel was going to have commercials + US announcers like Paul Swangard but I just turned int on tv and it's the same international announcers. So it's the same announcers but commercials if you don't pay for Gold.
