I thought countries can only enter 2 per event. How is it Ethiopia has 3 in the men's 3k?
I think because Kejelcha is the defending champ, he gets an to run automatically as an additional entry on top of 2 addition Ethiopians. But, I could be wrong.
Kejelcha won the indoor tour, so he has a bye.
Barega 1st
Chelimo 2nd
Kejelcha 3rd
I was just about to make a post, before I finished the review, asking why the heck Justus Soget isn’t running World’s. When I watched that 3k in Glasgow where he beat Chelimo- he looked so cool and confident on the starting line, I could just feel he was going to be a force. Really looking forward to seeing more of him in the future.
Real talk tho- it’s gonna be Barega or Gebrhiwet

Great picks.
I emailed Federico Rosa this morning and asked about Soget. He graciously replied, agreed that it was a great performance but that he “unfortunately have no answer” why Soget won’t be at Worlds.

What's the big mystery? He wasn't even qualified for worlds in time if he wanted to run.
