A US indoor champs wouldn't be legit if we didn't have some DQ drama.
What about this move late in the 3k?

Do you:
a) DQ Hill for shoving Kipchirchir?
b) Or DQ Kipchirchir for cutting in on hill?
c) Or is rubbing just racing?
Since it had no impact, I vote for the last option.
Editor's note: We have merged two threads into one. A poster by the anme of "Dqfqdq" started a thread after the race entitled, "DQ Kipchirchir."
In it, he wrote, "That was obvious interference he should be dq’d."
Update: Hill made light of DQ incident 4 years ago in his post-race comments.
“I wouldn't [file a protest]. Jerry [Schumacher] might. You guys want another fight in the back? We'll keep it civil this time. I might be DQd for all I know. Or maybe Bumbi is DQd,” he said.

More 3k DQ drama at USAs in ABQ? Should someone be DQd for this?

Why? Hill is just soft. -
Definitely c imo
-
But they're Americans.
-
Just looked like racing to me.
-
Should make it like downhill ski-ing, and time trial.
-
A. Dq Hill. Poor sportsmanship on his part
-
The only thing Hill did wrong was not shove him hard enough.
-
hill tucked into inside rail with less than a 100 to go. What a moron race move. Did he not think if someone came up behind that he would be boxed in? why wasn't he in lane 2 ready to make a pass for first, or ready to respond to someone trying to pass him? I just hate seeing professional runners being so unprepared for racing situations. Isn't their job to race?
-
oh and hill should get dq.
-
They weren't able to do Bowerman team tactics this year unlike in 2016, and Hill couldn't handle it.
-
How could Hill or Kipchirchir possibly be DQd for this? They were going full blast, Kipchirchir didn't quite have space when he was cutting in and Hill kept them from both going down by letting him know he was there with what wouldn't even qualify as "jus a lil baby stiff arm." That's just racing.
-
It appears that Kipchirchir is racing and a little rubbing is racing. This should be overlooked.
Hill however intentionally throws a push in the back. Not a part of the race. Should be pulled from the results. -
A football fan watching with me asked " Why didn't the ref call Hill for pass interference?"

If Hill hadn't leaned forward an pushed Shadrack, they would have both tangled and gone down. If anything get Kipchirchir for cutting in without clearance, but I'll give it a no call. -
Agree. Kipchirchir was starting to cut Hill off but he prevented it by pushing Kipchirchir twice. Good move by Hill to protect his position. No harm, no foul.
-
Why did Hill push him anyways? Frustration that he isn’t good enough? Kip didn’t even cut him off. He just passed him and stayed on the line of lane 1 and 2.

I don’t get it wrote:

Hill saw a fly on his back and was trying to swat it off. -
No cool, Hill.
