I’m a typically Miler who also runs the 800/1k . My pr in the indoor mile is 4:35. Yesterday I ran a workout outside it was pretty cold, rainy and windy on the curves .
The workout in question was 2x (200-400-200 )
The rest was 2 minutes in between reps and a 4 minutes between the set . My times were
(29,58,28) (30, 62, 31)
Felt zapped of energy on the last two reps, like I was running through mud ( wind didn’t help) .
My question is the workout I ran a quality workout for someone who is trying to run sub 2:05 in 800m and sub 2:40 for the 1k. What do you think this workout will predict for conferences in 2 weeks?
