Inflation cuts both ways.
This is a statistically non valid comparison.
There are x billionaires NOW and 320 million people in the U.S. NOW.
There have been 500 Yanx to break the 4 barrior EVER. But how many Americans can NOW run under FOUR?
Truthier comparison. I been drinking/
Apples to apples? American sub 4 vs American billionaires?
Are/were any of the 500 USA sub 4 milers billionaires or even millionaires?
I'll start the millionaires list
Craig Masback
60 seconds for 440 yards is a significant accomplishment.
keeping that pace for 4 straight laps is amazing.
Dave Wottle is one of the 500.
Anybody who even gets close to 4:00 for the mile is tough as nails.
ANY millionaires/sub-4:00:
Geb
Coe
Elliott
??
Rojo, are you sure Kyle Mau of Indiana, 3:59.15 today, wasn’t the 500th?
yes we're lovers and that is a fact wrote:

I hope you don't believe this. Thousands of middle schoolers go sub 60 for the 400 every year. It is far from a significant accomplishment.
The new LetsRun Trifecta:
Sub-4 Mile
Net worth of $1B
Victoria’s Secret Model Wife
Who will be the first one to get there? Clayton Murphy could if he invests in bitcoin and his GF enters the modeling industry.

Who do you think are in better shape, the average middle schooler or the average adult? Less than 1% of all Americans can run sub-60 right now. That is significant.

Isn't Chris Lukezic worth at least tens of millions if not a hundreds million? ANyone know what # employee he was at Airbnb?
The founders of airbnb are worth $3.8 billion each. So even if he has 1% of what they have then he's worth 38 million.
I'm more impressed by Jon Davis becoming the 498th this weekend.
more people have climbed mount Everest than have gone sub-4 for the mile.
true dat!
cheers.
Lukezic was #5 at AirBnb
But how many people have created a thread with 10,000+ posts?

Mau was #497.
Jon Davis' performance was truly impressive. 3:58 on a flat 200 running the final 3 laps by himself? Truly exciting. I was there in person and the entire armory, regardless of team affiliation dropped what they were doing and cheered him on. A nice moment for the sport.
Love that interview with Bor, particularly when he was asked about using team tactics at USAs and said that they would make it an honest, fast race, versus a sit and kick.
Congrats on being #500!
