Hey man,
Iona is very deep in the distances, but they train VERY hard, so you will either run real fast or get hurt...thats the way it is there...team atmosphere is great, cool coaches...
Notre Dame is amazing, campus and aura...great team, great coaches, great team just like Iona...Good training, every few years have a beast in 800-mile-3k-5k, doing it more often now a days...
G-town getting deep again as team, bringin in good recruits, training hard again, they will be up there next year, especially in the Big East Conference...
Cal Poly in beautiful Cali, weather always good, strong team for past few years, but not at the same consistent level as the first 3 teams...no knock on them, but Iona is getting beastly, N Dame is not far behind, and Gtown is climbin again, and always put together some real fast track times, especially DMR and 4x800s...If I had to narrow it down though, Id say Iona or Notre Dame...
Iona, because you have some beasts to train with, its near NYC(the best place on earth), and have endless miles of hills and trails to train on...if you run fast you will love it...
Notre Dame is superior academically, and its campus is ungodly georgeous, and you will run fast there as well...
Financially Iona and Gtown are ridiculously expensive, and Notre Dame is steep(although not as steep), but all 3 are great places to run AND go to school...
if you were choosing school first, go Notre Dame/G town
if you were choosing running first, go Iona/ND/G town
if you were choosing weather first, Cal/Gtown/Iona/N Dame
hope this helps man...
