I picked up a pair of Nike Vaporflys and used them for a recent marathon. At this point, I've only run 36 miles in them and don't plan on using them again until my next marathon, which is about a year away.
I'm sure this classifies as a stupid question, but when it comes to marathons I never assume anything. Is there any reason that shoe performance would diminish after not being used for an extended period of time?
My other option is to sell them for whatever I can get on the secondary market and then pick up a fresh pair at the end of the year.
Any thoughts are appreciated, thanks for indulging me.
