Hey guys, so I have been sprinting for almost a year and I thought I had fixed my bad habit of "bigger strides=better" I recently began to run in spikes and what I do is I land on my forefoot in front of my body, then my knee somewhat collapses and i slam my heel into the ground and push really hard off. I have tried running with the cue of under my body/chopping my strides but I still overstride, I've still made improvements with this form-25 second 200 but I feel I can go in the 23s if I fix this. I need help because everything I read is related to distance, and it seems impossible to fix while doing speed training, no matter how many cues I tell myself the bad habit comes. Right now, what I am doing to improve this is pistol squats, bounding and a skips/b skips. Does anyone have any success stories/tips?
