Those of you who train in race flats, which models do you prefer and what type of mileage do you get?
In terms of durability, the Adios 3 seems great, but I don't like high drops in lighter shoes. Maybe the Mizuno Wave Sonic would be a good choice. Anyway, what do you guys run in?

I don't do many miles/week anymore, but I've been training in Mizuno Hitogamis and have really enjoyed them for all of my training. I like them a lot but they do have a pretty significant drop for a flat (I guess that makes them rather non-flat-like, but they are definitely flats in terms of having minimal cushion). If you're willing to experiment with a drop, then I'd highly recommend them - especially since you are a Mizuno fanboy!
As a matter of fact, tomorrow I'll me running in my Hitogami 4s for the first time! Bought them some weeks back but had yet to run in them.
I run in the Rider 20 most days, so I'm not against higher drops per se, but in a shoe that's more minimal I think I prefer lower drops. Today I wore the Sayonara 4s and I love those shoes, but wish they had less bulk under the heel.
Zoom Streak LT series
Used to use the zoom streak 6 but I cant figure out why my feet keep going numb in them I've tried a handful of different lacing techniques. Even wearing them casually gives me same feeling
I've put a lot of high mileage weeks in the old Mizuno Wave Universe but they've stopped making them and I'm on my last few pairs. The altra vanish-r looks very promising and will likely be my next purchase. Though I usually don't buy shoes unless I can get them for less than $60 so we will see.
I wear Mizuno Wave Hitogami as everyday training shoes. Judging by your username, you might like them. They are being phased out though, so they are getting harder to find.

I've been wearing racing flats as everyday trainers for 17 years. NB rc series in the early 2000s, then Adidas Adizero Pro for a while (must have gone through a dozen pairs, loved them). Then the Adidas Takumi Sen. Now using Mizunos. Haven't needed a podiatrist yet.
Saucony Shay XC flats have treated me well.

I've been using them for a while as everyday trainers. Agreed that they are not quite as racing flat-like as others, but they are pretty decent. They last a LOT longer than any other flats I've used (see post above). I usually get about 250-300 miles at best out of flats, and my last pair of Hitogamis lasted for about 700 miles. Not kidding.
Saucony Kinvara Series. They are light but feel very responsive and cushioned.
1000 miles/pair.
The one shoe I like more than those are the Nike Zoom Streak LTs. The only problem is they got destroyed for me at 300 miles.

I'm jealous, Kinvara got destroyed by my running in 300 and I could only get to 200 in my LTs amd that is with my foot hanging out.

I wear the adios everyday. It has a pretty big drop but doesn’t feel like it compared to other shoes with the same drop that I’ve tried.
Also like the bostons.
I've put almost 1500 miles on a pair of Mizuno Universes

I typically run over 100mpw, not been injured for 6 or 7yr.
I only run in Altra now - love the foot shaped toe box and zero drop.
Best shoe ever was One 2.5 - discontinued but you can still get them from a few places (6pm, Amazon). Got 600-1000M from them
Looking forward to trying the Solstice in early 2018

I only train in track spikes meant for the javelin.
