Got put in an open 400 for the first time yesterday in our little pre season scrimmage. Usually run the 8/16 and coach wanted to see my flat out speed over 400m. Had a good race for about 299 meters before I literally could not lift my legs up and almost fell due to the amount of lactate in my legs. I definitely went out a little too hard, and the last 100m definitely slowed me down by 2-3 seconds at least. That event is hard!
