Any thoughts? I used to think that bumping up to a 1% incline usually only brought a treadmill to level from a usually natural downward slope. This leads me to believe the conversions are a little generous, given you have to account for the 1% bump back to natural, nature of belt running underneath you're stride, and lack of any wind resistance. Or do these conversions seem accurate for a ground pace simply under perfect conditions?
