A loooong time ago
sorry - not run in the same year. 200 was 2 years prior. 600 was my perfect distance.
24 flat
Broke 1:50 for 800
24.5; 1:51.9
1:54, ~23 flat hand timed
28 hand timed
2:04 800
The fastest I have ever covered 200m was 26, also hand timed, and it also happened to be the first 200 of that very same 800. I wasn't very fast, and I wasn't very smart.
800m: 1:52.7
200m: actual fastest time is a 24flat towards the end of a workout in practice. Could beat some low 11 100m guys in block starts on my team. Coach said he thought I could run 22.8 but I think more like 23.2-23.5 was realistic
Official PRS!
200m - DNF
800m - 2:25
200m: 23.46
800m: 1:55.17
Mile: 4:20.52
Ran 9:00 in a 3k at a meet then ran my first and only 200m race in college about 10 min after. I assumed I could sprint the entire thing. About 120-150 in my legs turned to jello. I never knew 200m could hurt so much.
200m - 23.51
800m - 1:53.04
22.6
1:58 @ 800
Not exactly MD. That's why I love HoTT BLACK SPRINTERGIRLS!!

Sounds like you lacked overall endurance and probably some specific endurance/speed endurance/efficiency running fast
