Never used them before and recently got a pair. So far I like them as a nice light trainer except for the clomping sound because of the harder bottom. Anyone else use them? What are your experiences?

I love the Brooks Beast. Great control. I put a spike plate in one pair and use them for intervals on the track, too.
i have a pair with about 200 miles on them and i love em. i run fast in them, long in them and everything in between, they feel great no matter what i do.
I've had a pain of axioms for 6 months. I tend to pronate, so I use them for shorter runs only. I find them to be pretty decent - not great, but decent.
The sound & feel of the soles will go away w/ wear...but it is annoying
This shoe is one of the best light stability shoes out on the market right now. It is selling really well for women and for guys it is starting to pick up steam as well. If you over-pronate a lot this is not the shoe for you, but if you love having a light weight trainer than this one is a solid choice.
I've had a pair for a month or two. It's a nice lightweight trainer. The only thing I don't like is that the forefoot uses a rather hard plastic amidst rubber instead of just straight-up blown rubber.
Awesome shoe. But the forefoot slapping sound people are talking about is a slight annoyance. Not to me though. I kind of run heavy footed now anyways. I think they are surprisingly well cushioned for a lightweight trainer.

I really hope you're joking...Saucony makes shoes with a metal frame...I wouldnt believe it either until i saw them firsthand. You literraly can not bend them side to side, and up down it has maybe a centimetre of give for mens size 9. Insane...
