PM - 3.14mi @ 8:07 (Tired)

Saturday AM - 8.01mi @ 7:45

Week total: 38 miles

This week was pretty good. The doubles made me tired (first time doing them), but they seemed to help me get back in shape quicker too. I’m looking at increasing them to 4 mi/day next week and the following week 5 mi/day since I’ll have winter break and can rest more.

Pretty happy with the week because this was the same mileage I did over the summer, but my first week back. I’m really sure I can hit consistent 60s soon, but we’ll see what happens next week.

Most runs started with a slow first mile and sped up from there. I’ll add strides next week. Core was MWF and Weights were TR. Stretching was done, but I need to do more of it. Just now starting to get over soreness.

Haile Gebrselassie doubles growing up! 10k to and from school and 7 miles to the market and back on the weekend. And he went on to break 3000m, 2 mile record, 5000m record, 10000m record, half marathon and marathon record.
