Hello,
I am currently a junior in college. I used to run in high school and had to stop running due to an injury my junior year (2013). I recently had surgery to fix that issue that will keep me out until about May.
I am trying to be able to compete at my school for senior year track season. I haven't ran consistently since high school. However, I have done a mile time trial every so often and about a month ago I ran a 5:25 mile with no training. My goal is to get around a 1:55 or better, if possible. Assuming that my surgery recovers 100%, what do I need to do to do that? Also, is it doable? Can I do better?
PRs
400m :56 (2013 track)
800m 2:06 (2013 track)
1600m 4:45 (2013 track)
3 mile: 15:45 (2013 CC)
Thank you
