How does one qualify for the NAIA national track championships? Time/place, if so, what are cutoffs?

It’s all qualifying marks/Times.
There’s an A standard and a B standard. Both are guaranteed a spot at Nationals but some schools will only take their athletes if they hit the A.
For example, last year, the 10k A standard was 31:15 and the B standard was 31:32. So you technically would only have to run a 31:32 to qualify.
How they make this years A standard is by taking last years standard, adding 16th places time/mark on the performance list and dividing by 2. For field events they round down, for track events they round up.

Not exactly. Each school can take up to 3 B qualifiers, 1 of which can be a relay.
If you hit the A standard you are automatically in. If you have a B standard, but are in the top 16 in your event at end of the season, your mark becomes an automatic qualifier.
